Zeewolde-Zuid is a beloved part of Zeewolde. “Squeezed” between greenery and water. With a short walk, you enter the Horsterwold, the largest contiguous deciduous forest in Western Europe, including the unique nature reserve called de Stille Kern! Here you can cycle, skate, ride a horse or walk endlessly. The dog may come along on a leash, but there are also parts of the forest where they can sniff around freely. What makes it even more enjoyable is that you might come across a deer, fox or beaver during your walk! We haven’t even mentioned the many (raptor) birds that can be spotted there. If you walk in the other direction, you’ll reach the beach of Wolderwijd within two minutes.
